My name is Aurus. I’m 22 23, four-eyed, moody and not girly. I’m a double bovine - I was born in the year of the Ox under the sign of the Bull. I’m lacto-ovo vegetarian. I’m a lady of few (spoken) words. I’m more talkative online than in real life, and I find it easier to express myself in written words and in images. I have a funny side, but it only comes out around certain people - it’s like there’s a switch to it, and not everyone can turn it on.
My current location is the Pearl of the Orient Seas. My grandparents arrived here a long time ago from the land where the Great Wall stands. And no, I’m not always vague.
I graduated green in 2006 with a degree in Advertising Management, with an Honorable Mention. Sometimes I wonder why I took that course, I really do. My current jobs are not too far from advertising though - I’m a web copywriter, both full-time and freelance. My favorite classes in uni were algebra, statistics and creative writing.
I believe that I am unique. Just like everybody else. I also believe in seat belts. Wearing one has once saved me from sporting glass shards in my forehead.

I love music! I mostly listen to rock and oldies. And jazz too, sometimes. I love love love Billy Talent for their fresh and unique sound. The Beatles always take me to another time and place that I wish I could’ve experienced. I adore Rise Against for their compassion and intense lyrics. I also enjoy listening to Avenged Sevenfold, Frou Frou, Imogen Heap, Switchfoot, Death Cab For Cutie, and lots more.
